So my sweet Allie took a 3 1/2 hour nap following her 4 month check up at the doctor today so I decided what better to do with my precious time than create a blog! Of course I have tried to create one before but with a baby you can see how successful I was. Anyways... a quick trip down memory lane to explain how we got here today!
May 31, 2008 I married my high school sweetheart and the love of my life Michael Fritz...
and moved into our cute little townhouse in Augusta, GA where we both graduated from college. Michael with a B.A. in Business Management and I recieved my B.S. in Dental Hygiene. Michael got a full time job doing project management for the government at a site about 45 from our home. I got a part time position at a dentist office in town working 2 days a week and then would fill in at other offices to make extra money. We were loving married life and looking forward to having a family but planning on waiting a few years. My sister had her little girl and july and as she says...holding gracelyn made me want a baby so bad that my hormones went crazy. Needless to say Labor Day weekend after a wonderful trip to Hilton Head, SC we found out I was pregnant. Surprisingly, I was the one freaking out and Michael was super excited! In January we decided to start looking for a bigger house since the 2 bedroom townhouse was already feeling small, and we bought a new home right outside Augusta and moved in March 5th...thinking we still had 2+ months before the baby arrived to set up home! Here is the house right before we moved in...
My pregnancy was going great and in April we decided to take one last trip to hilton head before our sweet little thing arrived and had a wonderful time! Here is a picture unloading the car from our wonderful trip!
Little did I know I would have a baby in just a few days!!! Ill update again soon with Allies arrival and more current pictures of our sweet little one! She is waking from a nap and I must assume my motherly role! :)
